Under the direction of the Executive Director, Thomas Jefferson
performs
accounting work, including analyzing fiscal records and reports. Preparing
financial reports, statistical reports and providing information to staff
regarding accounting practices. Thomas Jefferson is the Information
Technology Desktop Support Person for the organization. Responsibilities
include the operation and
integrity of the organization's infrastructure
which includes the network, servers, database, desktop
computers, and business applications.
Works with the Executive Director regarding status of all
aspects of
Foundation finances including investments, cash flow projections,
and Foundation fund balances. Assist Executive Director with
annual budget preparation, development of program
budgets, and production of a 3 year budget.
Manage and assist with annual audit ensuring
accuracy of all
information needed by auditor
and reconciliation of accounts
Assist Executive Director in monitoring and
overseeing a cash
management system.
Maintain financial accounting system.
Ensure timeliness of work and accounting functions.
