Ms. Eleanor Kindness will be responsible for building the capacity for NADC
to assist Native Americans in the areas of single family homeownership and in
business development by fostering partnerships with various organization and
also through the development of training and technical assistance programs.
Through the work of the business development and housing specialist,
NADC strives to meet the following objectives:

Develop a comprehensive homeownership program for
Urban or Reservation based Native Americans in
an effort to address poverty reduction issues.

Explore the feasibility of developing and implementing
a Down Payment Assistance program for Urban
or Reservation based Native Americans.

Provide training and technical assistance for Native
American homeownership programs.

Build sustaining relationships with strategic housing partners.

Provide training and technical assistance for business development.
